Baobos is a family-run Chinese restaurant located in my hometown of Vancouver, BC.
Their visual identity was designed by the talented Rose + Co. based in Victoria. The bright colours follow the design of the restaurant's original 1960s interior, with a palette of neutrals accentuated by a vibrant coral.
Overall, the owners of Baobos wanted this contemporary but nostalgic aesthetic to come through in their web design as well.

I was asked by the client to help bring their website in line with the changing demographics of the neighbourhood.
Since mobile is crucial for the younger generation, I created a fully responsive website that would help the company stand out from its competitors and attract new customers.
Mobile and Tablet-Friendly Site
The website's friendly, welcoming aesthetic reflects the warmth of the comfort food you find at Baobos. By using friendly copy and subtle animations, I was able to bring those same feelings of familiarity that one experiences at the restaurant.
